|
Since Phil brags how great he is at pool, and after his blatant bad sportsmanship on Monday, I've offered him a match as follows..........
*World rules, best of 19 frames
*£50-a-man. Money to be deposited with the landlord of the chosen venue at least 72 hours in advance of the match. Once its behind the bar neither player can back out, for any reason. Failure to show up means a forfeit.
*Date and venue to be agreed between the players, neither of which can be changed once agreed. However the deadline for acceptance is December 1st.
Phil's always saying he's a much better pool player than me so it should be easy pickings for him so it'll be interesting to see if he has the balls to back up his gob.
I have texted him my challenge, with no reply, so if someone who knows him can also forward this to him I'd appreciate it, thanks.
Will keep updating in this forum! |

| from playin with both of these players i think daz is a better player than phil, phil is just a potter and consid its world rules their playin daz has got a better head on his shoulder cause phils is 2 far up his arse. phil wil only pull frames if he gets luck which he will say he played for obviously cause hes so great..............................not! UP THE FINCH!! |

when i said someone, i meant someone with a bit of cash like you!
maybe ive been out the loop for too long but i always thought phil was a good talented player (albeit a bit of div) and daz was a doughnut. Things must have changed.... |

| Based upon the fact that I think Daz would be the tougher opponent were I to play one of the two myself, I'd make Daz favourite should this match happen. |

| Canal+ wrote: | | I get the impression you don't like Phil very much, Daz? | Phil's alright but its the way he acts on te pool table. Punching the air and shouting he's the best before he's even potted the black, that sort of thing. And he;s forever saying he's better than i'll ever be at pool so the challenge is there. Ideally id prefer he puts his own money up, put his money where his mouth is so to speak.
| jb1 wrote: | | jus like i offered someone a challange a few months ago, and he never even had the balls to decline, never mind accept!! PUSSY!! | So when you said something along the lines of "OK i'll play you at some point" that was actually a challenge was it? Sorry, i didnt realise you were being serious. OK what are your terms?
| FatherTed wrote: | | If phil doesn't play this match he'd be stupid in my opinion, far better player than finch. Surely someone would put them money up for phil?? | Like i said id prefer he put his own money up. But i suppose if he wont do that and wants to risk someone else's then that'll do. As for being "far better" than me, well we'll see wont we.....if he has the nads.

UP THE FINCH!! | In my opinion Phil is a one frame player. OK playing BAPTO or Old EPA and smashing balls around the table a bit but at World rules over distance i dont think his luck would hold for 19 frames. |

I haven't seen this of Phil in the two games of Sunday Lunchtime league yet. I think he know's the team demands respect, especially with the likes of people playing and watching. Infact i'd say he quiet. Phil knows he's in a team of players which are as good if not better than him (not all) but our team in practice like to play for cash. _________________ I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. |

| Cheers! Yeah I'd be up for a game with Spence. The question is will Phil have this match or, as i suspect, is he all talk? |

Daz i've been told you're after a money match. Well i've just been made redundant and have some spare cash knockin about so if you fancy a friendly game for a nifty fifty at your rules, i'll oblige. I donated £30 to Mr Mannion last week, very generous of me.
