|
|
Hi All,
With less than a week to go before the new season gets underway, I have started a new thread on the Premier League (as this is our division) so lets have your predictions for the season.
I think the league will be closer than last season where McCluskeys ran away with the title and deservedly so, but I predict this year the George Cross and Cornishman 'A' will be strong as well as the Coro HS and Fields so I am going for a ..
1. George Cross
2. McCluskeys
3. Cornishman 'A'
I will be happy if we finish mid-table and win the Super Cup
Good Luck to all teams in all Divisions.. |

i think all 3 of you are right about the top 3 teams although in which order is hard to predict .but as the prem gets stronger each year and the new rule of hit a cush comes in i think there will be more upsets on the cards .good luck to all teams |

Yeah but there are new rules coming in which you probably wont be used to. Most of the top team have played these so have a slight advantage. I presume you're the old Et Al team? I'm basing my prediction on what I have seen last season and how teams have fayred. But prove me wrong mate and i'll gladly take it back
I've done it again as didn't realise it wasn't Fez's team. _________________ I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six.

Have the Corn swopped their A and B sides over? as they were promoted from 5th place in division A last year due to Gregs and AJ's dropping out, if it's last years team I can't see them getting that high in this division but if they swopped sides I could see Fez's lot having a really good season. |

We'd have liked to have been in the Prem (just to get away from rolling-up-to-balls rules if nothing else!), but at the same time we have to respect the fact that there were other teams ahead of us in the pecking order who'd already earned the right to be there.
Given that it's our first season in the Summer League, we can't complain too much really about being started-off in Division A. I doubt we'll have it all our own way, but hopefully come next summer we'll be lining-up alongside the big boys! |

Yeah the new rules will take a while to get used to, especially the total snooker call - which I know I will forget to call!!!
Agree with you on more upsets on the cards, looking forward to beating McCluskey's 7-0 then... |
