Daz i will bet that you dont hit a cushion 90% of the time, it stops rolling up to balls, no matter what division you are in and how good you are if you can get a snooker (that might be the only shot on) you will go for it. This stops you. You also have this envious aurorer about the "PREM" but in all the years you have played pool i dont think you have ever played in the prem. Maybe if you did then your points about how good players in the prem are would be valid. |

You guys are funny with your attitude that the Premier Division in this league is the best standard available.
Daz you're right i dont hit the cushion 90% of the time, i pot balls instead |

No Daz it is YOU who has the attidude that the prem is the best standard ever. The fact that you are so shit scared to play in it is the very reason why you dis it. Name me one player who says otherwise. You make comments on the Sunday league site so you hope that someone tells you that "you are good enough to play in it" You must lack in so much confidence that you want people to big you up so you can compete with decent players. I think you are so scared of the rules you'll rather hide in the lower division rather than lose to "unknown players" _________________ I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. |

| There you go again with your this is the best standard on Earth attitude. I play on national tours and events so i know a little about quality pool (not that im in the same league as many of my opponents!), maybe some of you guys should give those events a go and "have the balls to give it a go". Or maybe stick to pub leagues and pretend to be good players. |

daz the prem in the dcpl is going to be a very good standard this year better than ever and yes i agree the events and tours you go in are good standards to very good but maybe some of us would love to play in these events but these are usualy on saturday or sunday and some of us put our familys first i saw your lad asleep the other day at the corn in a seat he was holding his que maybe sometimes otherthings are just more important it is about time you put all your know how into promoting pool for derbyshire instead of slating one set and winding pool players who are derby based |

That would be josh falling asleep, think he got dropped for the second half at 4-man, no staying power
I put my know how into promotiong pool full stop, not just in Derbyshire. The pool world doesnt start and end in Derby. Ask players in places like the north west, yorkshire and midlands who i am, they'll all tell you. Shame we cant get a few of you Derby types involved but, as you say, you're busy with family and dont forget you have to find the time to play Sunday dinners. Maybe i'd run more of my popular comps in Derbyshire if the locals fancied it but the standard would probably be too high but its OK you've got the awesome standard in the premier division to be going on with
Got a £20-a-man event coming up soon. Any takers here? |

Jack seems to be flying the flag for Derby at the moment, 2 tours and 2 wins in a top class field.
Daz loves a windup and gets bites most of the time but credit where it's due he does a lot for pool nationwide and his comps are well attended and well organised. |

Jack Whelan is on top form, 2 Premier tour wins back-to-back getting past pros and internationals.
This is my whole point Paul. A player like Jack puts in the time and gives it a go with the real big boys, ie pro tourers and England players, and he gets his reward. Their is potential for others in Derby to do the same but they think playing in the top division of a local league makes them superstars. Prove it folks, follow Jacks lead! |

see again again again again we dont think we are superstars we just think its a good prem for derby based players and jack gets every thing payed for by his mum and if i had a pool table in my house i think i would be a better player instead of only playing when u have a match. silver spoon springs to mind but jack is quality he will get better when he grows up as well |

I got a table Si and still sh*t!, although I can't be bothered to practice as the attraction wears off quick.
I back Jack and Lakin on the ipa and Daz's tours etc as it gives them a chance to play at the top level, I think you could do well also but like you say time and practice is an issue but there are quality players in Derby. |
