I wonder what is the League's stance on people agreeing to play best-of-seven instead of the scheduled best-of-five?

Seems quite a popular theme lately.

entirely up to the people playin, you can play best of 9 if you want too....... onlt trouble i can see is if there is more than 1 match at a venue and then its gonna drag on.....

I think it detracts from any prestige in the event(s) if people are just left to agree their own match lengths.

I've nothing against best-of-sevens (or best-of-nines, -elevens, etc), but I do think all rounds should be the same.

P Rollett & L Mannion 4 - 3 R Green & M Lager.
Re-arranged doubles, at 3 - 3 and had a bit of form off their dry break and managed to clear up..... just lacking that bit of confidence as always!.

I agree and with so many people flountng the rules in this league on a regular basis no wonder there are arguments every season

lakin let jack down . with jack not missing a ball and lakin to miss drop-in's to go 2-2 at 2-1 down then again to go 3-3 at 3-2 down. then get back to 4-4 and lakin misses twice with 2 shot's ball in hand in the decider. not much of a disaster. but well done to simon and jamie.
